（1）in case + 从句以防；可能；倘若
Take a hat with you in case the sun is very hot.倘若太阳很利害，你就把帽子戴上。
In case he comes ,let me know. 如果他来了，让我知道。
Be quiet in case you should wake the baby up. 安静些，免的把婴儿吵醒了。

（2）in case of+单词或短语如果；万一
In case of rain they can't go. 万一下雨，他们就不能去了。
In case of fire, call 119.如遇火警就打119。

（3）in no case 决不
You can smoke in no case .你决不可吸烟。

（4）in any case无论如何
It's too late, in any case. 无论如何太晚了。
